Dog Friendly?  Trail certainly is, but not so the Apres.  The temperature is expected to be in mid-high 40's so perhaps some time in the car would be fine for Fido.  You make the call.
D'erections: Search for 101 Executive Drive, Newark, DE 19702 or: From I-95, Exit onto Route 896 South toward Glasgow. Go just over 2 miles, and at the 4th traffic light turn right into the Pencader Corporate Center.  Make the first right onto Executive Drive and keep your eyes peeled for Hashers.

Hockessin Hash# 1014
So the slobbering pack met up at the end of executive drive in the Pencader office park, on the fine day of February the 1st, 2014 AD.  Hashers I remember being present: Dead End, Wet Lay, Tits of Steel, The International House of Virgins, Lost Penis, Skidmarks, Mary Fucking Poppins, Dirty Wet Pussy, Dirty Little Pumper, Toxic  Shock, Wet Lay, Groper, Do Me on the Beach, Circle Jerk, Cousin It, Ass Hopper, Wetter the Better, F-5,Wickwacker, Two Buck Fuck, Just Donny, Spunk Monkey, Just Bonny, Kum on Inn, Wishboner, Devil Woman, Butthead, Some visitor from a DC hash whose name I forgot, and many, many others.
Our hare for the day was once again the courageous Bunion Butt, who went through the slosh and the mud and the ice, so he could do it again with the rest of us.  And being that we are the only hash group I know of who actually leaves on time, our hare commenced with the chalk talk about 3:15 in the real world, but then discovered he was just about out of chalk.
On! On!
We began trail by going past the end of Executive Drive about where the high tension power lines are posted and into the woods for a while, our visitors from the Great Falls hash or whatever, found true trail after the first check and remained the FRB for the rest of the trail. Perhaps down there they don’t realize there isn’t a prize for finishing first.
On! On!
Through the woods we went, and into the slush and the mud and the snow.  We skated across a whole bunch of ice that was in the process of no longer being ice.
On! On!
We found a check here and there.  Our Dead Laying hare decided to run with the middle of the pack for a while.  Also, we are the only hash I know of where this happens.
On! On!
We crossed a couple of logs, fell into a couple of gopher holes, endured many prickly thorns until there, we find the Beer Near mark, and our auto-hashing Beer Meister Spunk Monkey with our brews by an old rotten tree.
We enjoyed our Boxer Lights and Miller High Lifes, the standard now for our year under this beer meister, while about half a dozen of our late arrivals wondered in.  After a few minutes we went back on trail again.
On! On!
We go through a bunch of trees and bunch of more snow.  And then across some mud and a path for once, but not for long.  We finish trail skating across some more frozen wetlands before coming out to some asphalt and the On In mark about half a mile before the actual On In.
We get back to the parking lot and for a little while enjoy some home brew courtesy of F-5.  Circle is eventually commenced and awards and penalties are dished out, and announcements are made.  Afterwards we gather at one of our favorite spots, On the Rocks, and enjoy some fine Ziti to go along with our brews. But all and all it was another shitty trail. Stay tuned for Hockessin Hash #1015, the 4th anniversary of the State of Emergency hash this Saturday.
On! On!
