| What? Hockessin Hash #981: The Maryland Avenue Mile. Come hash and witness the spectacle that my co-workers and I refer to as "The Maryland Avenue Mile", where you may see more circus freaks per square foot than any other part of The City To Beat Somebody*. Trail may be just a tad bit longer than a mile though, and there are a few hills. So bring your advil and your colonastapy bags. When? Wednesday, June 19th, 2013 AD, 6:30pm HST Where? The park located at 499 Maryland Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19804. The entrance is a few feet up the hill from those exact coordinates. There is playground equipment next to it and a yellow gate that's open while the sun is still up. Some of you may miss the entrance the first time you drive by it, but I'll try to mark it. Anyway, park in the gravel parking lot near the front and hash. Hares? Mary Fucking Poppins and Kum on Inn Hash Cash? 5 bucks Dog Friendly? Kid Friendly? The Apres is going to be at a bar again. D'erections: Put 499 North Maryland Ave, Wilmington ... if you're using one of those fancy computer thingys, don't use S. Maryland, unless you wanna a tattoo a hit the Cosmos Restaurant. Anyway, from I-95 northbound, take the Maryland Ave exit. At the bottom of the ramp, take a left onto Maryland Ave. Go about a mile, you'll go up a hill and then back down, and about halfway down the hill is a parking lot for Canby Park. Turn right, park, bitch, complain, and hash. From I-95 southbound, take the MLK Blvd/Fourth St exit. You'll be on Jackson St, stay on it until you are dead end onto Maryland Ave. Turn right, go about a mile, you'll go up a hill and then back down, and about halfway down the hill is a parking lot for Canby Park.
