| What: Hockessin Hash #929 – The hills are alive with the sound of hashers Who: Shop n’ F*ck When: Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 6:30 PM Where: D’erections: From points north: Take 95 South to exit 6 for Route 92/Naamans Rd. (this is to the far right of the 495 entrance). Stay to the right and merge onto Rte 92/Naamans Rd. Go for about 5 miles and cross over US-202/Concord Pike. Take the first left after crossing US-202 onto Rte 92/Ramsey Rd. Follow the first road to the right which will be Ramsey Rd. Ramsey will bend to the right when you get to the Brandywine River. Look for the parking on the left hand side of the road. If you go past Beaver Dam Road on the right then you went too far. From points South: Take 95 North to exit 8 for US-202N/Concord Pike (towards West Chester). After about 2 miles, turn left onto Rocky Run Pkwy (it is where the Famous Dave’s/Olive Garden/TGIF/Red Lobster are). Follow Rocky Run Pkwy around to the back of the restaurants and make a left onto Woodlawn Rd. Turn right onto Rte 92/Thompsons Bridge Rd. Take first left onto Ramsey Rd. Ramsey will bend to the right when you get to the Brandywine River. Look for the parking on the left hand side of the road. If you go past Beaver Dam Road on the right then you went too far. From Newark: Take Rte 2/Capitol Trail to Rte 141N/Fairfax. Follow signs for Rte 141N/Fairware and merge onto Rte 141N. Turn left onto Rte 100N/Montchanin Rd. Keep following Rte. 100N/Montchanin Rd. Rte 100N/Montchanin Rd will turn into Rte 92/Thompsons Bridge Rd. Turn left onto Ramsey Rd. Ramsey will bend to the right when you get to the Brandywine River. Look for the parking on the left hand side of the road. If you go past Beaver Dam Road on the right then you went too far. What else: Bring a dry bag and a chair and maybe a bathing suit and water toys if you want to frolic in the Brandywine after Dog friendly?
