To avoid some of the massive reconstruction on Elkton Rd, go straight at 3rd traffic light (i.e., don't follow 896 signs) past the U of D stadium, etc., and over the Amtrak bridge. At the first traffic light over the bridge, take a left onto Park Place. At the 2nd traffic on Park Place, take a right onto Apple Road, which brings you to Elkton Rd. Take a left onto Elkton Road and then a quick right onto Veterans Drive/Lane and then turn right at the second right (after City Hall/Police entrance) into VFW entrance. Park and Hash. Notes: Not a dog friendly trail. This is a Red Dress Run, a long worldwide hash tradition, which means everyone needs to wear a red dress ... don't have one? Pick on up at the Goodwill on Main Street or the Salvation Army across the start (i.e., across the street from City Hall). | Hashers |
