Take exit 6B toward Newark W/ Lancaster N 0.5 mi. Merge onto DE-2 W/ Kirkwood Hwy 1.2 mi. Turn right at Duncan Rd. Destination will be on the left 1.1 mi. From Newark: Take Kirkwood Highway. | So we had another hash Wednesday, August the 18th, 2010 AD. The slobbering pack met up at Brandywine Elementary School, around 6:30pm. Do Me on the Beach arrived a little late with the beer, because the Beer Meister had a bit of an auto-mishap that day, but not late enough to make this event a total disaster. Hashers Present Included: Dancing Fool, Poo Fucker, Itchy and Scratchy, Devil Woman, Butthead, Two Buck Fuck, Gives It Away, Gomez, White Trash, Bumpy Beaver, Dirty Wet Pussy, Up the Rear, Cribsnatcher, Do Me on the Beach, Mary Fucking Poppins, Stumpy, Woody, Bunion Butt, Wet Lay, Pickle Dick, Tinsel Tits, Ass Hopper, Better When Wetter, Seen Your Panties, Stun Gun, Just Pete, Just Chris, Just Jason, Just Karen, Just Tara, Just Stephanie, and many, many others. Dead End and Stitched Up Tight were the hares, with help from Mount Me. So the chalk talk was done and off we went ... On! On! Trail goes out of the parking lot and into the woods. On! On! Trail goes out onto Duncan Rd for a bit. Then there are a couple of checks. Some of the pack picks up marks on Del Castle Rec area, but lucky us, Deep Fried Dick discovers that this was the second length of trail, and the FRBs catch up to the rest of the pack, and therefore don’t miss the first beer stop. On! On! Trail goes out onto McKinley Church Road, and out onto Mill Creek Rd. and up a big, big hill, then down one. On! On! Trail takes a left out to McCain High school, where we find the first Beer Near. We enjoy our beverages for a bit while some light rain sprinkles upon us. Then back we are on trail. On! On! Trail goes back into the woods and into a neighborhood. We encounter checks here and there. Through the neighborhood we go, and then back out onto the road. And here we find an act of trail genius ... The marks, when followed by the FRBs go around in a 2.5 mile horseshoe around Del Castle Park, and when the FRBs finally get to the beer stop, the walkers are already there, enjoying the brews, and posing for pictures in front of Stitch Up Tight's Eagle tail gating bus. We go back on trail for a bit, through the park and out onto a field behind point A. All of the FRBs stop when they see the On! In! mark, but since Deep Fried Dick saw it first, he got blamed for it, at least by me, and he tried to blame the hare for running past it first. We circle up in the parking lot. Awards and Penalties are dished out. Circle Etiquette? HAAAA! What’s That? I’ll keep my mouth shut about that one for now. After circle, we head back to Carney's pub and enjoy the fare the hare’s provided us. Including, nacho’s chicken wings and hotdogs. The second round of hotdogs disappeared a second after they were announced. But a shitty good time was had.
