| So we had a hash, Wednesday August the 4th, 2010 AD ... The slobbering pack met up in front of Oshea' McClarahan's fake Irish pub in the Churchman’s crossing strip mall off of churchman's road around 6:30pm. For a while we wondered if the hare was going to show up. Hashers present: Mary Fucking Poppins, Dead End, Deep Fried Dick, Bumpy Beaver, Stungun, Itchy & Scratchy, Weird Al, Wickwacker, Stitched Up Tight, Just Pete, Just Pat, Poo Phucker, Beeper, Cribsnatcher, The Wetter the Better, Asshopper, Just Amy, Just Jason, Just Karen, Turd Herder, Roadkill, Gaydar, Fancy Pants, Bunion Butt, Wet Lay, Gomez, Perfect Woman, Dirty Wet Pussy, Seen Your Panties, Lick Stick, White Trash, Devil Woman, Butthead, Port A. Ho, and many, many others. Up the Rear was the hare, with help from offspring. We do the chalk talk for the benefit of our 3 virgins, but as usual, over half of us paid no attention too it, which was to our disadvantage when it came to following this trail we are off on trail. On! On! Trail goes past an Applebee's, and through a Red Roof Inn parking lot. We then go Towards the Border Cafe for a little while, then trail disappears, and then we pick it up again. On! On! Trail goes across Rt 7/ Rt 1, and some of us almost become roadkill (no pun intended!) Trail goes in the woods in-between the Chase/Jp Morgan/ Whatever banking office complex and Delaware Technical Community College. On! On! Trail goes through the Deltech parking lot, and there we encounter our hare, who seems to be leading us in a different direction than the marks would indicate. On! On! Trail goes across the churchman's bridge, across I-95, and in or around Cavalier Apartments. Well, here’s a guidelines when haring trail. Try not to make different lengths of trail within a few yards of intersecting each other. Usually you don't want an arrow, which is supposed to mean true-trail, pointing to a false. And when you have a false, you should usually have a check, or at least a check that looks like a check, and not like a regular mark, so that people know that there might be a false coming up, especially if the false looks more like an upside down P. And usually you don't want to have marks continuing on towards another length of trail after the upside down P, that in this case was supposed to be a clearly marked false. Just a few pet peeves of mine, but the end result being that a few of us who were actually following marks, and not following where the hare was walking, ended up missing the beer stop after going the wrong way and following the second length of trail after an un-check. Boo Hoo! But Dead End, got back to the parking lot as we did. So we still got some beer. On! On! There was a beer stop at Up the Rear's Pad in the Apartment complex with Dead End bringing over the coolers. Trail went though the mall parking lot a bit, than out onto Rt. One, across an entrance, ramp, up a hill, under a bridge where we found another mark for true trail leading to a false trail. We circled up behind the bar in another one of those great circle’s where people all took turns interrupting our RA, and screwing up her train of thought, with, "Well when one of those people drink they all drink." As, usual whenever she's about to end it, or actually in mid-sentence, some drunkard must open his or her mouth, so circle resembles the blessing said before dinner during thanksgiving at the Delaware State Hospital. Meanwhile, Dancing fool show's up and cleans the quickly emptying beer coolers. Afterwards, we Oprey at back at MclaraHan's, where we enjoy with our brews some Pizza, and some wonderful greek salad and some brownies.
