| What: Hockessin Hash #693 -- Christy’s 4th Anal Christmas Hash When: Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 3:03pm prompt (that means off & running at 3:03pm, get there early and have a beer in the bar) Where: Christy’s Tavern in Linwood (that’s near Marcus Hook), PA Who: Bitchard & Thunder Things What Else: This is an A to A hash, starting and ending inside Christy’s Tavern (169 E Ridge Rd, Linwood, PA. As it’s the shortest day, the hash will start at 3:03pm prompt – but the tavern is open all day, so come anytime, say from 2pm onwards. In fact, we don’t really care if you never leave the tavern. It is a joint Philadelphia/Hockessin Hash, so H4’s $5 hash cash will be optional to all. D’erections: From Philadelphia, take I95 South until Exit 2 (Rte 452, Market St) in PA. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Market St South towards Marcus Hook, and go 0.8 miles through two lights. At the third light, turn left onto Ridge Rd, and Christy’s Tavern is 0.2 miles on the right. From Delaware, take I95 North until Exit 1 (Chichester Ave) in PA. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Chichester Ave South, and go 0.6 miles through two lights. At the third light, turn left onto Ridge Rd, and Christy’s Tavern is 0.2 miles on the right. The SEPTA R2 train leaves Norristown at 12:48pm, stops nearly everywhere including 30th St at 1:38pm, and gets to Marcus Hook at 2:10pm. From the station, Christy’s Tavern is just a couple of hundred yards away, so just ask someone to point you to Ridge Rd. | Hashers |
