(BBQ and NASCAR, are we in North Carolina?) Who: Cribsnatcher and friend(s); that is assuming that he has any left. What Else: Prom Queen is cooking some roadkill for the Diamond State Barbecue Festival. So vegetarians will have to eat my potato salad and Prom Queens cole slaw. Car show, bands, and barbecue PLUS a Hash. (The 21st century boy I am, I searched for the BBQ fest, here is a site that I found -- hey Herschel Walker will be there) D'erections: South on Rt 1 or Rt 13 to Dover. At Dover Downs park at the farthest point north and west of the parking lot. I've only been there once and I can only Google so much detail. I suggest car pooling from the "Cheeseburger In Paradise" restaurant at Churchmans Rd, I 95 and Rt 1. I suggest allowing 1 full hour from there; however it can be done in 35 minutes. (Ok, those were the hare's lame directions. May I suggest ... Take Rt. 1 south to the North Dover exit. After the toll, at the traffic light with Rt. 13, take a left, go about a mile or so, look for signs for Dover Downs, and turn left into the complex. The event is in the infield of the Speedway, the casino is in front of the Speedway. Now back to your regularly scheduled announcement) | Hashers |
