| Hockessin HHH Hash #650 will be held in Sea Isle City New Jersey on Saturday February 17th @ 11:00 am. -This will be followed by the 13th Annual Polar Bear Plunge into the icy Atlantic Ocean sometime between 2:00:01 pm and 2:00:07 pm. Once again, the Hockessin Kennel will offer a Party Bus to take us down and back in warm, relaxing and Designated Driver safety and comfort. On board, a continental breakfast with champagne cocktails and assorted savory snacks will be provided. Chilled beer will, of course, also be aboard. The bus will depart from the Rest Stop on I-95 near Newark, DE @ 9:00 am and will leave the Jersey Shore @ 5:00 pm. Our Apres will be held amongst several hundred other Polar Bear Plungers in a lovely example of an archetypical Jersey Shore bar - the La Costa Lounge, drenched in the pungent ambiance of decades of spilled beers and late-night desperation (If the heating vents blow just right, you can smell the testosterone) . The La Costa will host a costume contest, a Beach Band, sweaty (weather permitting) drunken dancing and a complimentary post-Plunge buffet. If you ask nicely, they will also sell you a beer. Cost of all this - transportation down & back, bus beverages and breakfast grub, the 11am Officially Sanctioned Hash, the 2pm non-sanctioned guerrilla Plunge and the drunken Winter afternoon Bacchanal /Apres is a quite reasonable $25.00 or thereabouts.
