| What: Hash #509 When: Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 6:30 PM Where: New Castle County Middle Run Valley Nature Area (next to Tri-State Bird Rescue) Who: Mad Hatter and Queer Balls D'erections: From I-95 take exit for Rt 273 towards Newark. As soon as you merge with 273 from the exit, turn right at the first right (at Shell station on Harmony Rd). Stay on Harmony Rd thru five lights. It will dead end at the fifth light at Rt 2. Turn left to go west on Rt. 2, thru four lights to Possum Park Rd then turn right. There will be a Wendy's on the right. Take Possum Park Rd for about a 1/2 mile. Just before Paper Mill Road, you will see Happy Harry's just up the street, - turn before Happy Harry's onto Possum Hollow Rd. Follow the big brown signs to Middle Run Valley Tri State Bird rescue. About a 1/4 mile up Possum Hollow Rd make a left into New Castle County Middle Run Valley Nature Area. It's a gravel road and as you top the hill stay on the main gravel part until in dead ends at the parking lot..... bring a dry bag - knowing Mad Hatter. ALSO it's an A to B run/walk/ride. And just in case, from Newark, take Rt. 72/Papermill Road north/east. At the intersection with the Shell Station and Happy Harrys, take a right and then take the first left.
