| Hockessin Hash House Harriers Ski Weekend February 27-29 The Liberty ski extravaganza at Elk Mountain. Why Liberty: Cause you make your own schedule, your own reservations, choose whether to ski, and what mountain at which you wish to ski (sort of). When: Well, the hash will be on Saturday 2:30 PM. It will include a running portion, beer stop at the lodge parking lot, change into ski gear, and continuation on ski trail, down down's in parking lot, and drive to apres. Meet at the Elk Mountain ski lodge. Cost: $15 for hash only, $25 for hash weekend. Ski hash Souvenir for first 20 registrants, if paid by 2/18, as available if not. Why: because you need to follow blue chalk laden flour through the snow, and you really need some on foot time to hash The Deal at suggested lodging. $121/night including lift tix for two at either Montage or Elk Mountain, and breakfast each morning. Possibly even only $112, you can ask, not sure without skiing, after all, I encourage you to ski so didn't gather that info. Choose a Kink bed (Ed. note: or a king bed for less kinky types) on 4th floor, west wing above pool (rooms 300-308, 400-408), or two doubles on 3rd floor, again, west wing over pool. Ask for adjacent rooms if available with interior portage for better partying. I'm in room 404, 406 adjoins if someone will reserve it and make hash headquarters. A keg or minikeg on each floor (3rd and 4th) Friday night and Saturday night, soft drinks and tea if Crib is attending. Suggested Lodging: Day's Inn, North Scranton (formerly Quality Inn) 1946 Scranton-Carbondale Hwy (business route 6) Scranton, Pennsylvania 18508 Amenities: Some heat, hot water, pool, hot tub, lounge with pool tables and dancing, activities nearby including bowling alley and lots of dining and shopping. Oh, and some bars. Suggestion: Come up Friday AM, register (room may or may not be available yet), ski Friday day or Friday twilight (after 12:30 until 10:00 PM). Ski Saturday. Depart Sunday AM or ski some more, like at Montage on the way home. Or, just come up Friday night and ski Saturday and Sunday...your choice and choice of mountain.
