Hash #493 - Polar Bear Plunge Hash
Saturday, February 14, 2004
Hash starts at 10:45 a.m in Sea Isle City, NJ
About 12:30-1:00 will move on to do some serious pre-lube at the La Costa Bar
10th Annual Polar Bear Plunge will be on 41st Street Beach at 2:00 PM Post-plunge party back at La Costa Yes once again all you large stud HASHERS give your ladies a break and treat them to some shrinkage for Valentine's Day. We have the house for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. There are still are a couple spots left in the house.
D'erections: Get yourself to Sea Isle City (Its north of Avalon, south of Ocean City). Ok, a couple of suggestions, if you're coming across the Delaware Memorial Bridge, take Rt. 40, to Rt. 55 south. From Philly area, get yourself to Rt. 55) Rt. 55 ends and turns into Rt. 47. Take Rt. 347 (a bypass for Rt. 47), which drops back into Rt. 47. Watch for the signs for Sea Isle, if you take Rt. 83, it dumps into Rt. 9, take a left and then look for the sign to take a right to the road to Sea Isle. The house (start of the hash) is at 28 32nd St. This year we are on the north side of La Costa Bar. When you come into the town, turn left on Ocean Dr. go to 32nd St. and turn right. The temp. is going to be a relatively balmy 40 degrees. But if you pre-lube properly, you won't care what the temperature is! Contact Gomez for more details e-mail Gomez
