| Hash Trash Run# 262 11 Dec. 1999 Reading H3 #500/ Hockessin H4 At around 2 PM (or later because the de-erections were so fucked up) about 15 gallant hounds of the H4 met at the Meadowbrook Country Club north of Reading to celebrate the 500th Hash of the Reading HHH. This is the home of the same sadistic leadership the provides us with the Mudfest and the Half-wit Half Marathon---just to give you an idea of how demented the mentality is up here in the north. We lucked out with the weather that held warm and sunny until the shadows started to lengthen. We had good beer and nice goody-bags at the registration. The run itself was kind of "enh". We expected more of a challenge from the Reading H3. The rest of the story is kind of downhill---the cost was way too pricey, the food rated no more than an OK, and there was nuttin' in the way of music or skits---like kind of boring. Nowhere near our Hockessin HHH standards. | |
