For Saturday November 6, 1999
Hash Trash Run # 257
On an unseasonably comfortable Saturday afternoon, about 30 hounds of the peerless H4 met at Christiana Park, a seedy patch of green near the Wilmington Railroad station. Our hares, Dead Head, Woody and Bumper Humper, got the show on the road around 3:20 PM. I don't have a fugitive criminal's list of the participating hounds, but the only one who really mattered was Fancy Pants. If that bugs you, there's and old Gaelic proverb*
POG MO THOIN'
* Translated from the Gaelic it says, "Kiss My Ass"
However, the list of misfits and malcontents who appeared at the Hollow Weenie Hash are no longer TBA, they are here: Bone Me, Mad Hatter, Bunion Butt, Toxic Shock, Country Sausage, Buffy, Bumper Humper, Crib Snatcher, Screaming Pussy, Do Me...,Up the Rear, Karen Crossan, Flygirl, Roadkill, Gives It Away, Snow Balls, Dead Head, Queer Balls, Mount Me, Rosebutt, Gomez, Groper, Hot Pants, Hornblower, Wingnuts, All You Can Eat, Woodpecker, Himalaya, and Rubber.
Now, back to the F.P. Farewell Hash. It was a classical urban Hash, i.e., about 95% ass-fault. We were on trail for about an hour but that included a hangin' out at the beer stop--- a most relaxing one at Dead Head's parents' house near the Zoo. We had worked up a pretty good thirst by that time. Our course took us up from the river, over some parkland, and up and around Seize Yer Rodney Square until our careening around Thrillmington finally got us back to the ON IN at the parking lot. We promptly circled up for our sacred Religious ceremony, ably conducted by Cardinal Beeper. Down downs were administered to the hares and a couple of now defiled Virgins, one of whom was Himalaya's brother, Mort---a natural born hasher if there ever was one. He was here all the way from New Hamster (State motto: "Live Free or Fuck Off") for a big class reunion at Overbrook, made famous by Wilt Chamberlain. Ol' Mort looked like a Civil War casualty, but he made it. Yay!! A few hounds had to leave early, but for the rest of us there was a nice Apres with a cold cuts buffet and good beer at Feasel's Saloon, just a few blocks away.
