| Hash Trash Run#296 22 July 2000 Midsummer's Nite Wet Dream Hash After putting up with a lot of shore traffic, and also getting lost, your pathetic scribe made it to Lowe's Lakeside Campgrounds near Laurel, DE (which is far enough south to be a suburb of Atlanta). But lemmie tell youse that it was worth the trip, and if you weren't there you missed a good one. The weather was fantastic, the beer was cold, the food was good, and the camaraderie among the noble dozen present was super. Most of our gang arrived the night before and set up their tents at a lovely, level, and wooded campsite. We had an island to ourselves and the management gave us the go ahead to carouse to our heart's content. Our GM, Groper, had everything moving so smoothly that we weren't even aware of the usual Hash characteristics of absurdity, cheating, infantile behavior, and mismanagement. Our hares, Crib Snatcher and Roadkill, plotted a short trail that was totally free of ass-fault, but mucky enough to fuck up our sneakers. Leaving QueerBalls, Edna, and Solveig behind to hold down the tents in case a tornado roared in from the trailer park nearby, we took off down some trails and into the shiggy. Our devastation of the local ecosystem was spearheaded by Slutmaster, Rubber (with two offspring), Up the Rear, and Sophie. We made it back in after about a half hour on trail and gathered 'round to hit our hares with down-downs, in addition to His Eminence, Himalaya (the R.A.) who was actually first in! Then we enjoyed do-it-yerself cold cut sandwiches washed down with some good brew. | |
