| Saturday's hash, Feb. 15, will be the Polar Bear Plunge in Sea Isle City. Gomez rented a place for the weekend. Contact him at hank13@... about available space. If you never done a plunge before, don't worry, you'll survive. All you gotta do is run in, and run back out. The plunge is made much easier by the ritual shots, beers, or whatever gets you warmed up for the plunge at the host bar. If you're wimp, still come on down, we always need some wanker to take pictures, etc. If you are going down on Saturday, there will be a short hash at 11am-ish (Gomez?) and then off to the pre-lbe at La Costa bar. The plunge is at 2:00pm. Food at the bar afterwards. Hash Start: 28-46th Street East Sea Isle City, NJ D'erctions: Go over the Memorial Bridge, take Rt. 40 to Rt. 55 and go south/east (if you're north, go over whatever bridge is convenient and take 55). Rt. 55 dump onto Rt. 47. Stay on that for several miles, and then take 347 which will dump you back onto Rt. 47. Follow the signs to Sea Isle City (which, I think, takes you on Rt. 83 and then a left on Rt. 9 and then a right on the road into Sea Isle). | Hashers |
