Just leave your dry bags at home and stroll the afternoon away. Now, if you believe this I have ocean front property in Nevada I'd like to sell you! The truth is FooManChew me hasn't been laid in a very long time and he's feeling par-tick-u-lar-ly ornery (or is that hornery?) so watch out. And he has a warning for all would be park strollers and suggests you take the following test to see if you qualify for this hash: 1) How many hash marks does this number represent to you: "11"? A) Two B) Eleven C) Who Cares! If you picked A, stay home. Otherwise come on down to The Jewish Community Center at 101 Garden of Eden Rd, Wilmington, DE and Hash! Da-rections from North of Wilmington: 95 South to the 495 spilt. Follow 495 and take the first exit which is Naamans Rd -- turn RIGHT on Naamans. Take Naamans to Route 202 (Concord Pike) and turn LEFT. You'll pass the Concord Mall (on the left) then John Harvards Brew pub (on the right). Garden of Eden is not much further, just past the Tallyville Shopping Center where Borders Bookstore is located. Turn RIGHT on Garden of Eden Rd. The Jewish Community Center is on the RIGHT side, turn in at the second driveway and Hash! But be careful, if you miss the Garden of Eden Road turn it's a real pain in your steering wheel turning around to get back there. And if you do, follow the From South da-rections From South of Wilmington: From I-95 North take the 202 (Concord Pike) exit. Be sure to follow the signs for 202 NORTH. I think it says West Chester. (Don't follow the signs to Wilmington.) When you see the street sign for SILVERSIDE RD get in the LEFT lane. After you pass SILVERSIDE take the very next LEFT following the sign for Garden of Eden Rd. This left will actually be a u-turn and you will be heading South on 202. As soon as you get on 202 going South move to the RIGHT lane and turn RIGHT on Garden of Eden. Follow the directions above from here and Hash away. Of course this is easily found on a MAP or through some internet Driving Direction site like - http://www.mapquest.com/ . And since I'm lousy at writing directions to anywhere I suggest using one or both of these alternatives. | Hashers |
