| What: Hockessin Hash # 590 - The Christmas Eve Hash When: Saturday, December 24, 2005 at 11am yes, 11:00am Where: Marcus Hook, PA (it's near Newark as promised) Who: Bitchard What Else: The return-to-Marcus Hook hash will be a European-style hash, starting and ending inside a pub. The run, which is of course optional, will be 3-4 miles of roads, trails and shiggy. The hash is child and dog friendly, but State law says you have to leave your dogs outside the pub. Our host, Christy, and bartender Patti invite us to their party free food all day, and unlimited pitchers of Yuengling for just $5 hash cash. D'erections: If you're coming from Newark or Wilmington heading north on I-95, one mile after the PA border take Exit #1 "Chichester Ave". Turn right at the Stop sign, go 0.7 miles through the first light, bear right at the next, then left at the third onto Ridge Rd. Christy's In Linwood is on your right, after less than 0.1 miles. Park in the pub parking lot. If you are coming from the Philadelphia area on I-95 South, take Exit #2 "Market St, Rte 452". At the light, turn left onto 452-S, go 0.9 miles through two lights, turn left at the next light onto Ridge Rd, and park as above. There's also the R2 Regional Rail line with Saturday departures from 30th St. Station at 38 minutes past the hour.
