Friendlies: Trail is likely dog/kid friendly, but unless you can disguise your kid or dog as a service animal, they ain't allowed in "taverns" according to DE law D'erections: From I-95, take exit 3/Rt 273 East towards Dover. Turn right onto Old Baltimore Pike. Go 4.3 miles, the pub is on the left next to the Valero gas station. From Newark, get your ass to Rt. 72 or Rt. 896 south and take a left onto Old Baltimore Pike, On the Rocks is on the right less than 1/2 mile past Rt. 72. | Hashers |

| Trash for Hockessin Hash #1164 So, the slobbering pack gathered up in the parking lots of one of our familiar old haunts, the On The Rocks Tavern, on Old Baltimore Pike on the wintery Saturday of November the 26th, 2016 AD for the Spanksgiving Day Hash (Saturday after Thanksgiving). Hashers I remember being present at some point: Chasez Boyz, Dead End, Jewel of Denial, Mary Fucking Poppins, Groper, Just Jeff, Asshopper, Wishboneher, Do Me on the Beach, Bunion Butt, PubeHeAteHer, NecroFeelMeUp and many, many others. Our hares of the day were some of our resident old Baltimore Pikers Porta’Ho and Wetlay who laid this trail with plenty of gusto in spite of the not most comfortable wind chill. We hung out for a while drinking some fine brews provided by Bunion Butt for a while until our no longer always fair weather RA Wishboner herded the cats together for the chalk talk. And so we were warned that trail would be marked in flour, both white and blue, as well as a ribbon or two, along with a beer stop or two. And then we were off. On! On!Trail was discovered somewhere in the easterly direction of Old Baltimore Pike then discovered to go across the street. We ran through a neighborhood for a bit then went towards the woods, on the way seeing the Beer Near symbol on a manhole and yours truly found the canvas cooler containing our brews. And so we enjoyed those along with some jello-shots for a bit. And those shots were most tasty being flavored like watermelon and green apple. Soon enough we were back on trail, except that is Just Jeff, who decided to weenie out of the next leg of turf for fear of hurting an ankle and auto-hashed with Porta’Ho to the next stop. On! On!Trail went through the woods for a bit and over and through many ditches. We saw an orange ribbon here and there. We came out to the power lines, lost trail for a bit, but the sweeping Wet Lay indicated the right direction in a very obvious way, by going there. Back into the woods for a second or two until we came out to the Albe Drive industrial park and found another Beer Near mark. And a few minutes later Porta’Ho arrived with the beer, and Just Jeff who auto-hashed on his very first trail. And we enjoyed some brews and some jello shots again. On! On!We went down to the end of Albe Drive, then across Old Baltimore Pike, then found the On! In! in the parking lot of the UAW hall with Dead End waiting for us with more beer. Jewels of Denial got the dishonor of first in this time, as Necro and Pube auto-hashed that day and nobody else cared enough to run by that point. Since Wet Lay was the hare, I guess either Bunion Butt or Asshopper got the honor of being last. Soon enough, our RA for the day, WIshboneher, circled us up and then offered the RA duties up to anyone who felt like running a circle and Chasez got to be it. And so he ran circle with a great deal of coaching. Awards and penalties were dished out. Songs were sung. Down Downs were done. And in the absence of Woody the hash went in peace with the RA getting that line wrong again. After circle we waltzed back up the road to where we started On the Rocks. There we were joined by the auto hashing NecroFeelMeUp and PubeHeAteHer. Porta’Ho provided the meats, like turkey, ham and roast beef with gravy, while WetLay provided the mac and cheese. And enjoyed that we did, along with a few pitchers of beer, and it wasn’t long until Porta’Ho broke out the cards against humanity game again. All and All it was another shitty trail.
