| What:: Hockessin Hash #770, The Taco Hell Hash, redux, aka the New Garden Shit Solutions hash, the reason for which will become self evident on trail. Brought to you by: Your hare of the week, Butthead, who is so deep in shit its head high. When: June 3. Depart 6:30 PM Sharp, we need to get done by 8:00 so we can eat and leave by 9:00pm. Why Butthead: Because Ruby (Editor's note: Who the fuck is Ruby? Violate this shit-for-brains hare for calling Port-a-ho the wrong name) asked me when I was drunk and not thinking, so I said yes. I feel so used. Where: Welcome to Little Mexico, PA,otherwise known as New Garden, PA, a place where it smells like shit and you can (still) be somebody. And the reason for that smell is shit, and not just the horse shit in the mushroom houses, there is a lot of other shit here too. You might well consider this hash a Tour-de-shit. So where is the start: Okay, the hash is meeting at New Garden Center, New Garden, PA, on Old Baltimore Pike. Meet at the section of parking lot closest to Old Baltimore pike, at the end of the closed old Acme, near the under construction new McDonalds . De-erections: Finally. From Hockessin: Take rt. 41 North 5 miles to Avondale. Turn right on Baltimore Pike (there are two gas stations and a Dunkin Donuts at this corner), proceed 3.1 miles (entering New Garden, the eastbound lane will split off and be known as W Cypress St.) and turn right into NewGarden Center. There is an Odd Lots store with a prominent sign, but we will park on the other side of the shopping center, on the sheltered lot at the end of the former Acme. From Newark: This is the Hockessin hash, you cannot get to New Garden in any sensible way from Newark. However, if you must start from Newark, take Paper Mill Road to Route 7 North, left on Rt 41 North, and follow directions from Hockessin. From Wilmington: Take Rt. 52 N to Route 141 South, then turn right on 41 North and once you get to Hockessin, follow directions above for Hockessin. From Points North, such as Chadds Ford. Take Route 1 South and take the Kennet Square exit, avoiding the Kennett Square bypass. Continue through Kennet Square 2.5 miles (the road name will change from East Baltimore Pike to State road to West Baltimore Pike). Turn Left on Scarlett Road, Left on West Cypress, and Right into the shopping center, taking a quick left to find our parking area. There are shorter routes, but they are too difficult to explain.
