| What: Hash #331, Butthead's Bungle in Jungle (well there's not exactly a jungle in NE, but there is a state forest nearby, let's hope we end up there) When: Saturday, March 10, 3p.m. Where: Northeast, Maryland, which is at the head of the navigable waters of the Northeast River (real inventive name, Northeast - at least Elkton means head of the Elk and the Elk River is named so because the waterways resemble an elk) Who: BUTTHEAD (I think), who deserves our kudos (or insults or STDs) for filling in at the last moment. Why: Because after the blizzard (drizzle) of the century, we all have cabin fever. Apres/OnIn/OnAfter/OnOnOn: Butthead, in an apparently generous mood, decided not to suprise us and tell us where we will be consuming mass quanities -- ON-[O]N at Moore's Tavern in beautiful downtown Northeast. ON-AFTER at Woody's (also in downtown Northeast, not the famous Marshallton establishment). D'ERECTIONS: Cheap hashers (to avoid tolls) - take I-95 South from Wilmington to Rt. 1 or Rt. 896. Turn right on Rt. 40 (40W) go past Elkton to Northeast. Park at Northeast Plaza near the Roy Rogers, at the corner of Rt. 40 and Rt. 272. ALTERNATIVE D'ERECTIONS: Take I-95S to Rt. 272 E, turn right into Northeast Plaza shopping center just before you reach Rt. 40. Instructions: BRING A DRY BAG!!!!!!!!!!! | Hashers |
