| What: Hash #349, Fourth of July Hash and Bash Who: Mad Hatter and the Dodge Boys When: Wednesday, July 4, NOTE NEW TIME ** 3:30 ** PM, Where: Fairhill, MD D'ERECTIONS: From Wilmington take I-95 N to Rt. 896 Newark exit. Follow Rt. 896 thru Newark to MAIN ST. TURN LEFT on Main St. and get into right lane as soon as possible. The road splits into three directions - choose the center: Rt. 273 N. From the point of turning left on Main St. it's 5.8 miles to the ENTRANCE 3 Road into Fair Hill Park, a left off of Rt. 273. After passing Appleton Road you will travel under two bridges. After the second bridge the left is only a few hundred feet and if you're not careful you'll miss the ENTRANCE 3 Road. Turning into the park just a short distance you'll come to a stop sign - TURN LEFT, driving past the barn with the green doors, taking the road on left side. TURN LEFT at the yield sign and follow this road over the one lane bridge. A Covered Bridge sign will point the direction. About 4 tenths of a mile TURN RIGHT, again a sign will point the direction to the Covered Bridge. Take this road about a mile and the parking lot will be on the left just down from the Covered Bridge. There will be BIKE, RUN, LONG AND SHORT trails. | Hashers |
